This is a real shame. He always seemed like a nice guy in the interviews that I’d seen of him. Plus he was in of my favorite movies of the 80’s and 90’s. The Outsiders, Red Dawn, Dirty Dancing, Road House, and Point Break. He was always enjoyable in the movies and I think he was an underrated actor, Not great mind you but underrated for sure. He was great in his last set of performances in the TV show The Beast. Plus lets not forget one of the funniest moments in Saturday Night Live’s history when he did the skit with Chris Farley as the Chippendale Dancers.

He also had a huge hit with she’s like the wind from Dirty Dancing which he wrote and performed. R.I.P. Patrick you lived a hell of a life and thank you for all the good performances.

Patrick was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January 2008. His publicist says he died with his family at his side.
